i love the bouzouki! so different, and proves your not part of the girls-and-synths brigade that some people seem to lump you in.

Ideas for the video.. hmm, I can imagine it as a big group of girls (imaginative right ;) ) or come to think of it, it could be guys dressed up as girls, that would be so discordant. maybe taking the mick out of girls, which would really fit in with the whole "all the calories they eat.. blah blah blah" sections.
or, the end section 'wag your tails to the beat' could mean that the girls are 'catty' and therefore you could have a cat-fight theme, girls dressed up as cats slagging each other off.
*stops now before anymore stupid random ideas come flowing out of my keyboard!*

Ideas for the video? hmmm....The image that comes to my mind while listening to the song is a group of traditional/folklore Greek girls in a traditional Greek temple. They discover "modern" magazines somewhere in the temple and try to look like Kate Moss and all the superstars that appear there. They also discover a room with a huge TV or something and are amazed by awful sexist hip hop music videos, so they try to puke and wear a lot of make up and try to be like those "perfect" girls....and then something bad would happen to them for not being themselves. You know, kill them off some way....xDDD (just joking)

Eh....I was actually up early/late enough to get in on this last night but I had forgotten and was actually doing my coursework (for once). This will teach me to never stop obsessively checking Twitter!

NO!!!! I'm so sad I missed this. Was working from 8am-8pm and missed it. And I'm a massive fan of the original Girls, as I've said before here! Aheh aheh! (that's me crying by the way).
How about this for a video:
An old-fashioned psychiatrist's room (a la Freud: bookcases, big couch). We see a montage of scenes with different patients on the couch (girls, guys, women, men) who complain, lip-syncing Marina's lyrics.
On a chair next to the couch we see the psychiatrist (unclear at first, covered in pipe-smoke and shadows). Once 'he' appears it's Marina (looking dead-serious with a pipe in her mouth, glasses on, a nice knot in her hair and a notebook full of scribbles). And all she says during the first part of the song, in reply to the singing and shouting of the patients, is: 'Na na na na na'
Until 2:20 in the song. Then it's Marina stepping up and singing the part: 'I feel like I've been riding in a fast car. Burning dirty gas won't get you that far.' Throwing her pipe and glasses away and underneath the oldfashioned clothes is a fancy dress (the one u wore in Amsterdam should do the trick) and then she starts jumping and shouting on the couch as a final I'd-rather-be-mad-than-sad-kind-of-thing?
...as a final I'd-still-rather-be-a-girl-than-a-man-kind-of-thing...
